Head Injury
Head Injury can be as result of trauma to skull or brain. It can be a Neuronal Injury, hemorrhages, Vascular Injury, Cranial Nerve Injury and subdural hematoma/hygromas. These classifications can be either open head injury or closed head injury, depend on if skull was broken. The cause can be due to a trauma that happen at home, at work or in civil matters. Head trauma can be obvious or discrete and can follow with any of the following symptoms:
- Lose consciousness
- Vomit
- Behavioral changes/seizure
- Headache
- Pupil Mismatch
- Paralysis
If intracranial hemorrhage occurs surgery are used to lessen the pressure.
